Monday.com: Work OS from Tel Aviv to Wall Street

Lesson 215 · מוֹנְדֵיי

Monday.com was founded in 2012 by Roy Mann, Eran Zinman, and Eran Kampf as "dapulse", originally pivoted from an internal Wix tool into a standalone work-management SaaS. The company renamed to Monday in 2017 and IPO'd on Nasdaq in June 2021 at roughly $7.6B valuation. Today the company has around 2000 employees and ~225K paying customers globally. The headquarters sits in the Sarona tower complex in Tel Aviv.

Cultural note, Monday.com epitomizes the modern Israeli SaaS playbook: founded by ex-Wix engineers, raised aggressively, scaled customer success operations in the US, IPO\'d in 5 years. The "Work OS" positioning (vs. just project management) targets enterprise CIO buyers, broader than the original team-collaboration market. Monday\'s culture is bilingual English/Hebrew with English dominant for US-facing roles. CEO Roy Mann hosts Open House events at Sarona that anyone can attend.
