B2/C1 Mastery Phase 1: Block 30 Summary

Lesson 300 · סִכּוּם רָמָה גְּבוֹהָה

Block 30 closes the first B2/C1 mastery phase. You\'ve now covered: B2 reading (newspapers, op-eds), B2 listening (radio, TV, podcasts), formal letters, government Hebrew, legal Hebrew basics, advanced grammar capstone, vocabulary capstone, conversation capstone, and the full toolkit of farewells. At lesson 300 you should command roughly 4,000-5,000 active words, all seven binyanim, formal-to-casual register switching, and the cultural fluency to navigate Israeli daily life across every adult context.

Cultural note, Reaching B2/C1 in Hebrew is roughly the difference between "surviving aliyah" and "thriving in Israel." You can now read a contract before signing, file a complaint formally, debate a stranger about politics, follow a news anchor at full speed, write a CV cover letter without help. The remaining 700 lessons (blocks 31-100) deepen specific cultural and historical fluency rather than core language. After Block 30 the pace shifts: less new grammar, more cultural context.
