Israel's gym culture is dense, major chains: Holmes Place (premium), Re:Live, Ultra Sport, Gat (mid-tier), Curves (women-only), Crossfit boxes, plus thousands of independent "chadar kosher" (fitness rooms). Pricing: 200-700 NIS/month depending on chain + membership type. Most gyms include sauna, pool, group classes (Body Pump, spinning, yoga). Trend: outdoor "kalisthenika" parks (Park HaYarkon, Park Hadera) for free workouts.
Cultural note, Israeli gyms are social, people chat between sets, towels everywhere, the lateral pulldown machine doubles as a coffee table at peak hours. Holmes Place is the upscale chain (Tel Aviv Sarona has its flagship); Gat is the budget alternative. CrossFit ("Crossfit") is huge in Tel Aviv. Many gyms are kupa-affiliated (kupot offer fitness reimbursement up to 50%/year). Personal trainers ~150-300 NIS/session. Outdoor running + free street equipment ("calisthenics") is the cheapest option.
