Advanced Grammar Capstone

Lesson 296 · סִכּוּם דִּקְדּוּק מִתְקַדֵּם

By B2/C1 you control the seven binyanim, smichut chains, conditional clauses, modal constructions, passive voice, and noun-adjective gender/number agreement automatically. This capstone consolidates the trickiest constructions: future-tense polite forms, contrary-to-fact conditionals (lu / ilmaleh), high-register passives, and the "yesh + infinitive" obligation pattern. If you can produce these without thinking, you\'re solidly B2.

Cultural note, Native Israelis often skip strict grammar in casual speech (e.g. confusing accusative "et" with direct object). At B2/C1 you\'re expected to know the rules even when natives don\'t. Formal writing requires precision: smichut accuracy, gender agreement, correct binyan choice. Spoken Hebrew tolerates much more flexibility, "שלוש שקלים" (m/f mismatch) is common in shuk talk.
